Surprise Canyon is the most difficult trail to drive I have ever seen. That is because it is impossible to drive!! This trail is a winch test. It consists of a total of 7 water falls split in to two groups. A couple of the falls can be driven by a good Jeep and a patient pilot. At the top of the waterfalls is a very easy 45 minute drive to a mining town where we based camp for the night.
