This group consisted of myself (Tommy) and my dog Dexter in my '93 YJ. Truckhaven is a desert area just west of the Salton Sea in Southern California. The type of four wheeling you find there is lots of dirt and sand hills that twist your frame into a pretzel. The weekend I decided to go camping there with my puppy Dexter I had no idea what was already planned there. I knew that some event held by the "Tierra Del Sol Four Wheel Drive Club" was going to be there, but I did not expect over 1,000 four wheel drive vehicles. I was content to camp up in the hills above the event to get some peace and quiet. I did drive down to the city of motor homes to get a closer look at all the Jeeps though.
